Electric text tutorial

you must create new document 400 x 150 with black background and then select the type tool and type out your on text. You must use boldish font.

1. Right-click your text layer and go to rasterize layer.
2. duplicate the layer and the layer will be use at the end.
3. select your original text layer and press ctrl + e to merge the layer with the background
4. then goto image > rotate canvas> 90cw
5. now goto filter>stylize>wind (from the right) and then press ctrl+f to apply filter again.
6. once again use step 5 (from the left)
7. goto image>rotate canvas>90 ccw then press ctrl + f to apply the wind filter again
8. once again filter>stylize>wind (from the right)
9. press ctrl+u and colorize the image in a color of your choice

lastly,Unhide your hidden text layer, then hold down “ctrl on the keyboard” and click your text layer to make a selection, then goto “select > modify > contract”. Contract the selection by 2 pixels. Select your paint bucket tool and fill the selection with the color black. Now finally click your background layer and goto “filter > disort > ripple” apply the pre-set settings.
